Hey! I’m Dave Gill, an author, filmmaker, and blogger among other things.
I’m just a regular joe who likes to travel when possible, be creative as much as I can, and do good work that makes people smile or think.
Vague Direction is my blog. It’s about adventure travel, bicycle journeys, storytelling, and practical no-nonsense philosophy.

The Bicycle Journey
Vague Direction started back in 2012 as a place to document a 12,000 mile bicycle journey. I stepped away from my job as a commercial producer to cycle around North America for a year, whilst talking to as many people en-route as possible about their lives.
